Delicious, family-owned restaurant. The food is more flavorful than other local Mexican restaurants. The house pumpkin-based salsa is to die for. Also love that refried beans are served with the salsas. Chile Verde is exceptional.

El Chicano's Pozole is one of a kind. Among all the Pozole's I've tried (across the US and Mexico) theirs was the first Pozole I've had that had way more meat than Hominy Corn. It was LOADED with tender meat. Yummy! I could not express how good their steak Nachos was. For starters, it was visually appealing. The way the chunk of steaks was smothered with melted mexican cheese mix made my mouth water. It was delectable as it was visually appealing.
